We’re well into the new year & the conventions are about to start! The first one to hit our little town of Adelaide is Oz Comic Con. It’s a convention we provide coverage of every year & one that has given us a lot of interviews over the years! Thankyou Oz Comic Con, we love you!

What can you expect this year? Well, I hear that a certain gameshow has made its way from the almighty conventions of AVCon and PAX Australia to feature, for the first time, at Oz Comic Con in 2015!

That’s right! The Super Video Game Trivia Challenge will be back for the first time this year. Join me, your host, with our video gaming brains trust as we attempt to answer all the questions that have plagued video game trivia buffs for years… or maybe not…

So what else can you do at Oz Comic Con? Oh, I don’t know… maybe mingle with their AWESOME guests? Let’s check out some of the amazing stars who will be in Adelaide for the weekend:

Our old friend Bill Farmer will be back in town! Bill was the original voice of Sam in Sam & Max Hit the Road way back in 1993.

Sam & Max Hit the Road

I had the pleasure of sitting & having a chat with Bill back in 2012 where we spoke about Goofy, Bugs Bunny & of course, Sam & Max. Bill let us in on some of the details of the sequel that sadly never happened. Check out the interview here!

One guest I am more than a little bit excited about is the recently announced Monica Rial! Monica is the voice of Bulma in Dragonball Z Kai, the redub of Dragonball Movie 1 & the recent dub of Dragonball Z: Battle of Gods. Presumably she will also be in the up & coming Dragonball Z movie: Revival of F. Monica has also been involved with the Borderlands series of video games & a great underrated Nintendo DS game called Monster Tale. If you’ve never played this little known gem you owe it to yourself to give it a try!

Our old buddy Jon Sommariva will be present with his video game inspired artwork. If you walk away with one art print make it one of Jon’s. Check out this classic gem:

Megaman Jon Sommariva

In this image Jon has taken classic comic book characters & turned them into Megaman villains. Brilliant stuff!
