Adelaide’s yearly anime and gaming bonanza AVCon 2017 is fast approaching and as Marcus covered recently, Retrospekt will once again have a big presence at the event. Make sure to check out that post to get a better idea of what kind of amusements and shenanigans you can look forward to from us.

Retrospekt Video Game Haiku is a video series that’s been running on this here site for five years now and the next planned evolution of the show will be a new project Iv’e been working on. The “Haiku By You” video’s will be much like the past series of Retrospekt Video Game Haiku but will contain submissions by you lovely folk at AVCon 2017.
Simply come up with a neat little poem following the usual haiku structure (the first line has five syllables, the second seven syllables, and the third has five). Make it related to gaming, anime, pop culture, or just something funny and cool – have a good time with it! Fill out the entry form at AVCon to enter and every haiku you come up with wins a Steam game key. It may also win one of the many major prizes which range from a Pokemon plush, Pop! Vinyls, a US NTSC Super Nintendo game and more.
