This guy makes some amazing artwork, in form of wallpaper! Yes the entire library is full of high-res wallpaper for one to reminisce on classic gaming. Very detailed artwork!

Coming out on September 11th of this year, Star Fox 64 3D for the Nintendo 3DS is going to once again go back to the roots of classic Nintendo shooters, and I guess this IP of Nintendo’s was one of the more recent on the Super NES at least. Anyway, yes, Star Fox 64 is a remake of the Nintendo 64 classic which was also titled Lylat Wars, depending on where in the world you reside in. The video above is a 5 minute gameplay trailer for the up and coming reboot.

Something I’ve been playing yesterday on the bus home from work, was Marathon, which came out for the iPad yesterday. Marathon (App Store Link: AU$FREE) for those of you who don’t know, is a fairly unknown treasure on the Mac back in the early 90’s. Doom was dominating the 1st person shooter market at the time, others have tried and failed. Marathon however just sat aside and got it’s fandom from the Mac community. You guys know Bungie right? Creators of Halo? Well you have Marathon to thank for that (at least all the positive parts of Halo)!

And finally, as many of you know, James from Angry Video Game Nerd is severely busy as of late with making the Angry Video Game Nerd Movie. So in the mean time he’s been releasing some fairly interesting videos, but one that would suit this site more, is a Behind-The-Scenes video of AVGN.
